About Me
Shanti! My name is Nancy Conners. I am a wife, a mother of 3 adult children and a yogi. I love dogs, being in nature and have been living in a rural setting for the last 32 years.
As a person living with Lupus for 34 years, being active is an important aspect of my life. I am a cyclist, hiker and yogi. Yoga is a wonderful compliment for me with all the stretching, strengthening, toning and core components.
Having practiced various styles of yoga for the past 15 years, I wanted to deepen my personal practice.
Coming to a cross roads in my life, after being laid off from my Hi-Tech job of 14 years, I took the opportunity to take the 200 Hour “Hatha Yoga Teacher Training” at PranaShanti studio in Ottawa. This was a life changing experience! I discovered a new side of myself which brought more meaning and focus to my life. I didn't realize the physiological aspects of yoga and true spirituality involved. I have gained valuable tools for life and strive to embody yoga on and off the mat everyday.
Creating TAKE A BREATH YOGA has given me great joy and satisfaction. I love sharing my enthusiasm for practicing yoga with beginners and experienced practitioners.
**Namaste**
